This process gave birth to the 5T-WR, a natural successor to the much less versatile 4T-LK model.
When I wanted to make a more standard frame for more versatile needs, I wanted something that had the flavour and scale of a more standard chub, with the versatility and articulation of a larger build. The result was this, with every limb overengineered for articulation, the body being held together by a vertical internal rod.
This humanoid frame allows for back attachments, arm attachments, hands (obviously), and all sorts of armor modularity. I look forward to putting together some variations of this, with different themes. Hopefully its versatility will make it more of a staple frame for me.
Every joint except ankles has articulation. Most of the joins have two axes of articulation, if you count SSC's after each clip joint. The poseability of this frame should be fantastic, but I'm not too sure about it's strength.
I haven't actually been on hiatus, I've been working on a lego mech project behind the scenes. I'm probably going to scratch that project and release the work, so stay tuned for more.
